| |
| |
- Podcasts are online audio or video content made available through the Internet using a subscription "feed".
- iTunes is one source of FREE podcasts for education.
- Just as Safari Montage provides audio-visual support for your curriculum, so can well-selected podcasts, and as such, need to be directly tied to the curriculum.
- Podcasts can provide expertise/information that is beyond the scope of the classroom teacher, such as an interview with a biologist regarding shark reproduction, extra practice with Spanish or writing tips from an author.
- As always, when selecting support materials, teachers must use professional discretion when choosing podcasts for use with students.
- ALWAYS PREVIEW a Podcast before using it with students!
